Healing rarely comes from one thing. For most people, it comes from a combination of support, education, community, and a willingness to keep trying—even when one approach doesn't work. These are resources I've found helpful, along with evidence-based tools recommended by mental health professionals. My hope is that something here helps you take your next step.


Depression is a chronic condition that often requires ongoing support—through therapy, community, structure, and for some, medication, meditation, or spiritual practice. Newer approaches like EMDR and psilocybin-assisted therapy are also gaining mainstream traction.


Everyone’s experience is different, and the level of support you need can shift depending on how you’re feeling and what’s happening in your life at any given moment.

If You're Struggling Today

When depression gets loud, don't worry about fixing your life. Just shrink the time horizon. Focus on getting through the next ten minutes.

  1. Go outside for 10 minutes.
  2. Text someone you trust.
  3. Drink a glass of water.
  4. Take a shower.
  5. Listen to a calming playlist.
  6. Write down exactly what you're feeling without judging it.
  7. Put your feet on the floor and notice five things you can see.
